Founded in the late 1980s, the society has spearheaded three decades of clinical education, multidisciplinary consensus guidelines, quarterly teaching hospital conclaves, and a certified register of 915 life members.

About the Delhi Society of Hematology

Advancing the science of hematology across research, teaching, and clinical practice in Delhi-NCR since the late 1980s.

Founding Mission & Clinical Concord

The Delhi Society of Hematology (DSH) is the pre-eminent academic and clinical society uniting clinical hematologists, hematopathologists, pediatric hematologists, hemato-oncologists, and laboratory physicians across Delhi-NCR. Founded in the late 1980s, the society held its milestone 30th Annual Conference in September 2019 and continues an uninterrupted tradition of clinical education.

Its registered membership comprises 915 life members representing major apex medical institutions, including AIIMS, MAMC & Lok Nayak, UCMS & GTB Hospital, Lady Hardinge Medical College, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, the Army Hospital (Research & Referral), and prominent specialty healthcare centres across northern India.

A quarter-century celebration of hematology scholarship in the capital, surpassing 450 life members and establishing competitive postgraduate research awards.

2018

Institution of the DSH Oration

The executive committee formally institutes the annual DSH Oration to honor distinguished Indian hematologists who have made epochal contributions to patient care and academic literature.

2019

30th Annual Conference & Register Expansion

Convened with distinction in September 2019, recording 611 registered life members across Delhi NCR and Northern India, solidifying DSH as the specialty benchmark.
